🎓 College-bound kids? Don’t forget the insurance!
As our kids head off to college, there’s a lot to think about—dorm supplies, tuition, schedules, and maybe a few extra boxes of snacks. 😉 But insurance coverage is an important item that can easily get overlooked. Before your student heads out, take a few minutes to review:

🏠 Personal property: Your homeowners policy may provide coverage for a student’s belongings while they’re away at school, but there can be limitations depending on the situation, where they live, and how much property they have. Laptops, electronics, furniture, clothing, and other valuables can add up quickly!

🚗 Auto coverage: If your college student is taking a vehicle with them, moving to a different location, or leaving their vehicle at home, your auto policy may need to be updated. Where the vehicle is primarily kept and how the student is using it can affect coverage and rating.

💡 A few minutes now can prevent surprises later. Before move-in day, contact your insurance agent to review your student’s living arrangements, belongings, and vehicle situation and make sure your coverage still fits.
