At FDLCU, we believe our job goes far beyond everyday banking. It’s about being there for our members, especially when they need someone in their corner.

A few months ago, a member experienced a devastating situation after losing $16,500 while attempting to purchase a motorcycle online. What appeared to be a legitimate transaction turned out to be a scam.

Our team immediately stepped in to help. What followed was four months of dedication, communication, and persistence. From working closely with our member, reviewing the details of the situation, following up throughout the process, and coordinating with outside financial partners, our team never stopped advocating for them.

Through their extensive efforts, we were able to help recover the full $16,500.

Recovering those funds was an incredible outcome and provided a huge relief for our member. Behind that outcome was a team that was willing to put in the time, make the calls, follow up, and continue pushing forward until every possible avenue had been explored.

We are incredibly proud of our team for the compassion, determination, and dedication they showed. This is what creating exceptional member experiences looks like. 🧡
