Great couple of days in Detroit attending the 2026 Rocket Pro Experience at the historic Fillmore 🚀

It was great representing DP Mortgage Consulting and connecting with so many experienced mortgage industry professionals from across the country. Rocket Pro has been an important partner in my business for many years, and I’m grateful for the continued support, technology, and people who help me serve my clients every day. It was great connecting in person, hearing what’s ahead, and touring Rocket’s home in Detroit.

I also had some time to explore the city and experience some of Detroit’s rich history—from the automobile industry and architecture to its sports, music, and riverfront. It’s impressive to see firsthand the role Rocket Companies has played in the revitalization of downtown Detroit. And it wouldn’t have been a trip without ordering authentic Detroit style square pizza at Buddy’s Pizza with my Detroit native friend Steven Betel.

🏡 I’m always grateful for the work I get to do as a mortgage broker, helping people achieve their goal of homeownership. Investment financing is one of the many areas we specialize in at DP Mortgage Consulting, and one I enjoy because every client’s financial goals and circumstances can be so different. We recently helped two clients in very different situations purchase investment homes in Sacramento. We beat out multiple offers, secured competitive rates, and had loan docs to title on each transaction in less than 15 days. 🚀

📍 East Sacramento $770K
Clients living in Arizona used a 1031 Exchange to sell two out-of-state properties and reinvest the proceeds into their new Sacramento property — an investment that also gives them a future home closer to their daughter and soon-to-be son-in-law.

📍 North Highlands $280K
Longtime clients purchased their third property, this one for their daughter. Another multiple-offer situation where our Verified Approval Letter and strong financing terms helped put them in position to win. 🔑

👏 Congrats to Danielle and Christiana for doing a great job for our buyers on both transactions!

Investment properties can be a great way to build equity, diversify assets, create rental income and build long-term financial freedom. 📈

As market conditions continue to improve for buyers, increased negotiating leverage is creating attractive opportunities in desirable areas and I’m seeing more clients strategically add real estate to their investment portfolios. 🏡
