📢 Now Hiring – Temporary Front Desk / Administrative Support (Floresville)

Hampton Tax Group is seeking a front desk team member for the remainder of tax season through the end of July at our Floresville office.

Office Hours:
Monday through Friday
8:30 AM – 4:00 PM

This is a temporary engagement with the possibility of becoming permanent based on performance.

Responsibilities:
• Answering phones
• Scanning and organizing client documents
• General administrative duties
• Assisting staff as needed in a busy tax office

Qualifications:
• Strong computer skills required
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• QuickBooks experience is a plus
• Professional phone presence
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Compensation will be determined based on experience.

💔 This Isn’t About Politics — It’s About People. 💔

With the government shutdown dragging on, many of our neighbors — including active-duty military families and other federal employees — are missing paychecks. These are men and women who serve our country, protect our freedoms, and support our communities.

Under normal circumstances, many of these families already struggle to make ends meet. Now, through no fault of their own, they’re facing the very real question of how to feed their children or pay for basic necessities.

This isn’t a right or left issue — it’s a human issue.

If you know a government or military family in your neighborhood, please reach out. If they’re too proud to ask for help (and many are), consider helping quietly:
🎁 Send an anonymous grocery or gas gift card.
🍲 Drop off a meal.
🛒 Cover a small bill if you can.

Let’s make sure those who defend and serve us never have to worry about how their children are going to eat. Compassion and community are what keep us strong — especially when times are hard. ❤️🇺🇸

Important Message to All Clients:

As of Thursday March 19, 2020 at 8 PM Gov. Tom Wolf has ordered all non-life-sustaining business in Pennsylvania to close their physical locations for a period of two weeks. Unfortunately, Accounting firms are considered non-life-sustaining and as result we are going to be forced to vacate our Pittsburgh office's premises.

Due to this unfortunate series of events we will have to make various changes to our work flow, and shift to a strong reliance of digital technologies. However, you can rest assured that we will still be fully operational through our remote systems technology. We will be working closely with our offices in Houston and San Antonio to maximize production to make sure all of our clients’ needs are met in a timely manner. We will be shifting all work to be prepared remotely by our various employees. They will be using our secure internal network which they can access from their homes.

Note, we will be sending someone on a daily basis to collect mail, however if you have not sent in your documentation yet we strongly recommend that you do so electronically to reduce the risk of information loss as well as the spread of COVID-19. If requested, we can send secure upload links to any clients that would like to upload their data in a secure and encrypted manner.

The federal government has extended both the filing deadline and the time to pay your taxes to July 15th. We will keep you abreast of the various plans being developed by the government to assist you, your business, and our economy.
