SNOW EMERGENCY - Just in case you haven’t seen this yet, Boone County goes on a level one snow emergency today at 12:00 p.m. noon.

❄️ Snow Update: Saturday, Jan. 24 ❄️
County officials continue to monitor the weekend's weather forecast. Currently, the plan established yesterday is still in effect. Here's what you need to know:
✔ A Level One Snow Emergency will go into effect at noon TODAY, Saturday, Jan. 24.
✔ Please move parked cars off the street so crews can effectively treat and clear snow from roads.
✔ Crews will treat and plow roads early, and then only plow as snow intensity increases.
✔ More than 60 drivers are scheduled to report to work this weekend's snowstorm. They will work in alternating shifts.
✔ Crews will be spending the night at work to ensure they can safely return for their next shift.
