💜What an incredible day at our Purple Picnic for a Purpose presented by: Darpel Elder Law, in recognition of Elder Abuse Awareness Day! 💜

My heart is absolutely full after seeing the generosity, kindness, and support shown by our community today. It was inspiring to watch so many people come together for such an important cause.

A special thank you to Ron and the team at CarePatrol for sponsoring the delicious food, and to SMP Kentucky Senior Medicare Patrol for sponsoring our co****le tournament. We are also so grateful to all of our vendors and the entire Crescent crew who worked hard behind the scenes to make today a success.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who attended, donated a raffle basket, made a donation, bid on raffle items, played co****le, or contributed in any way. Every dollar raised helps bring awareness to elder abuse and supports efforts to protect and advocate for older adults.

Thank you to everyone who registered for our World Elder Abuse Awareness Day Fundraiser – "Purple Picnic for a Purpose" presented by Darpel Elder Law!

We're looking forward to a fun afternoon of food, connection, and raising awareness for an important cause.

🎉 This event is officially SOLD OUT! If your plans have changed and you are no longer able to attend, please let us know as soon as possible or cancel your reservation online so we can offer your spot to someone on our waiting list.

☔🌞 No need to worry about the weather! The event will be held indoors at Crescent Insurance. The only activity taking place outside will be the Co****le Tournament, which will be held across the parking lot in the greenspace between our office and Florence Park. If there is rain, we will unfortunately have to cancel the tournament portion of the day, but the rest of the fun will continue.

🌭 Care Patrol will be grilling up hamburgers and hotdogs for everyone to enjoy! Lunch will be at Noon.

💜 Since this is a "Picnic with a Purpose," we'll also have:

🎁 Raffle baskets available to bid on (you can bring cash or use the online link)

💜 A special Wall of Honor - For a $10 donation, you can honor someone special by having them featured on our Wall of Honor. Please reply to this email with the name of the person you would like to have on our Wall of Honor. Must be received by end of day on Friday, June 12th.

My mom was gifted this prayer blanket in 2024 as she was battling cancer.

Her always in my heart and the prayer blanket remain.

This prayer blanket brought her immense comfort until December 15th when God called her.

My hope was to continue that comfort to others that need it most.

I am so grateful to the Comfort Quilters of Northern Kentucky that have donated their time to create these for us to share.

If you or someone you know has extra material you are not using, we would love it if you would consider donating them to make these blankets.
