🚨 SCAM ALERT 🚨

One of our tenants contacted us this morning after two women showed up at their rental home for a scheduled viewing.

When our tenant explained that the home wasn’t available for rent, the women showed them a Zillow listing for the property. Even more concerning, the listing included our tenant’s name as the owner.

We have no idea how someone obtained our tenant’s information or why this particular property was targeted, but it goes to show how creative scammers are becoming.

We are actively working to have the fraudulent listing removed.

If you use Zillow to search for rental properties, please be especially careful. Even listings on well known websites can be fraudulent. Always verify who you’re communicating with, and never send money or personal information without confirming that a listing is legitimate.

Please share this post to help spread awareness and protect others from becoming victims of rental scams.
