Current estimate: Around a 3.6%–3.8% Social Security increase for 2027 (roughly $75/month for the average retiree), but it’s not official until October, and some of that increase could be offset by higher Medicare premiums and other living costs.

It was a perfect recipe for terminations. I feel like Medicare and WellCare should’ve worked together to allow more time and more options for those who didn’t realize the issue until it was too late. Medicare steps in all the time, but they can’t be bothered with this mess? 140k terminations through 4 months?

Thousands of people lost coverage over as little as $8 in delinquent payments. They didn't know their zero-dollar premiums had gone up and they owed money. Most now can't get coverage until 2027.

Today we celebrate not only our nation’s independence, but a remarkable milestone—250 years of America.

For two and a half centuries, generations of Americans have worked, sacrificed, and served to preserve the freedoms we enjoy today. It’s a day to celebrate our history, cherish time with family and friends, and look forward to the future.
