Friends of the John C. Fremont Library The Friends of the John C. Fremont Library District help to support programs and building projects for the library in Florence, Colorado. Fremont Library.

This group provides financial and moral support to the John C. In partnership with enthusiastic support from the community, the Friends organize, plan, and hold various local fund raisers throughout the year, such as auctions, yard sales and book sales. Money raised by this group will be used to help fund various library programs such as the Summer Reading, Early Literacy, and Teen Programs, as we

ll as a future expansion and/or building projects for our rapidly growing library. Become a Friend:
•Donate your used books for the Friends book sale.
•Give the gift of membership to a friend or relative.
•Use your skills to help with programs and fundraising events.
•Find new resources for the Friends.
•Volunteer to work in the Friends Library Bookstore or booksale. Friends of the Library Benefits:
•No late fees on books and magazines (applies to overdue items only, excludes fines assessed for lost or damaged materials)
•Half price faxes
•Half price laminating
•Half price copies (both Black & White and Color)
•E-mail alerts for announcements
•The Friends' Board meets only four times per year.
•Members are NOT REQUIRED to attend ANY Board meeting, but might have fun if they do!
•Volunteer commitments are very much appreciated but are never required.
•Membership cost is only $24.00 for one calendar year! If you would like to become a member of our Friends of the Library group stop by the library and fill out the application and pay the small $24.00 yearly fee.
