**DON'T BE CAUGHT WITHOUT COVERAGE**
States were able to resume the Medicaid Redetermination process as early as February 1, 2023. This unwinding process is scheduled to start in Michigan on April 1st, with Michigan members beginning to receive termination of benefits letters with a July 1st effective date. This will create a 60 day special enrollment period for individuals to enroll in a health insurance policy with no lapse in benefits.

Exciting News: An IRS rule change to the ACA that we have been waiting for quite some time! (Link Below)
"Starting in 2023, under the new rule, if coverage for the family as a whole costs more than 9.12 percent of household income under the lowest-cost employer-sponsored option, then the nonemployee family members will be eligible for financial assistance in the ACA marketplace."
