Unhinged things borrowers have casually said during escrow 😂

🏡 “Can I co-sign for my cousin real quick?”
💳 “I opened three credit cards for the points.”
🚗 “The dealership said it wouldn’t affect anything.”
💰 “I moved money between like 7 accounts because I forgot where it was.”
📦 “I paid my earnest deposit in cash… is that bad?”

The home buying process is basically:
10% paperwork
90% lenders trying to keep everyone financially calm until closing day 😂
