🎉 We had an amazing Annual Meeting today! Thank you to everyone who showed up, supported us, and helped make this event possible.

Here’s a quick recap of some of the meeting events:

Shane Wiseman, KFB’s First Vice President, along with Alex Barnett and Mike Tobin, spoke at the meeting. They provided updates on happenings within the state for both the Federation and insurance company.

Mary Jane Cannon officially retired from her position as Women’s Chair, and Susan Wood was appointed as her successor. Congratulations to both of you! We are very excited for what’s ahead!

We awarded two Legacy Farms. Helphenstine and Chrisman Farms were both presented with this honor. We are very proud and lucky to have family-run farms like these in our community.

We also had the opportunity to recognize our youth within the county. Maggie McGlone, Tori Robinson, and Jordyn Carlson attended IFAL over the summer. Maggie McGlone and Lucas Campbell competed in the Outstanding Youth Contest, with both winning their district and advancing to compete at the state level.

Re-elections and financials were also discussed and approved during the business portion of the meeting.

We are so thankful for all of the support from our community and look forward to another great year!

We’re excited to see you there today!

Kentucky Farm Bureau, in coordination with Kentucky State Police, has created a booklet that details the requirements for moving farm equipment on roadways. Be sure to check it out below by clicking the link, then click on the “Vehicle Regulation” section to find an online copy of the booklet.
