I was born and raised in north central Kentucky in the rural town of Carlisle. Being the youngest of three children, I watched my parents work tirelessly, sometimes working two or three jobs, just to provide the basic necessities for our family. I wasn't aware of our financial struggles during that time, because we always had what we needed, and our home was filled with love. I was blessed to lear
n so many wonderful things from my parents, such as having a strong work ethic, being honest and having integrity, the importance of family and having faith in God. I also learned the importance of financial security and being prepared and planning for the future. Now, I use these attributes and experiences from my past to work with my clients to create financial goals and plan for their future and financial security. I want to do my best in helping others gain financial freedom! I have been with Edward Jones since 2018, having received a BA degree in middle school education from Morehead State University and a MS degree in library science from the University of Kentucky. Prior to my current role, I was a public school teacher for 23 years. My desire for learning and passion for education play a major role in deeply serving my clients and my community. I am currently the president of the Carlisle Rotary Club and the vice president of the Carlisle-Nicholas County Chamber of Commerce. I am very fortunate to work with many other community members help our "Little Town with a Big Heart" continue to grow. I live in Carlisle, KY, with my husband, Rick, our two dogs, Duke and Max, and our cat, Sophie. We are proud parents of eight children and grandparents to six. I have an immense love for the outdoors, and I enjoy camping and hiking where I can be surrounded by the beauty of the earth. I have learned that every day is a gift and I intend to live my days to the fullest by focusing on how I can be a blessing to others by serving and making the world a better place!
