Traveling somewhere for the long Labor Day weekend?

AAA expects plenty of company on the roads. A little planning now could save you some time — and some traffic-induced frustration — later.

One quick insurance tip before you go: make sure your insurance card is current and easy to access, whether it’s in your glove box or on your phone.

Safe travels this weekend from your Hometown Team!

Unlike longer holiday periods, travel over Labor Day weekend tends to be concentrated within a short window. According to INRIX, many car travelers will hit the road after work on Thursday or during the day on Friday. INRIX recommends departing early, allowing additional time, and avoiding the middle of the afternoon whenever possible. Even leaving an hour or two earlier can make a meaningful difference.
