Diamond Savings & Loan Diamond Savings & Loan was a Findlay, Ohio-based S&L operating from the 1970's to the 1990's. It was a subsidiary of Dana Corporation of Toledo, Ohio.

It was broken up and sold (primarily to Bank One) following the S&L crisis of the 1990's.

Speaking of "Vern", does anyone happen to have a VHS (or digital copy) of the "Hey Vern!" ads that were created for DSL? They were quite funny, and the outtake version was hysterical...
