We gave Brody Hohman one more assignment before his summer internship ended: help us make the experience even better for the interns who come after him.
Throughout the summer, Brody tracked the work he was doing, the areas he was learning about, and the experiences that were helping him develop. We then challenged him to turn those observations into a more intentional framework for future Resolute interns.
He recently presented the finished project to our team.
The framework includes day-to-day responsibilities, opportunities for advisor exposure, skill development, longer-term projects, goals and milestones, and a progression toward greater responsibility throughout the internship. Intern activities are performed under the supervision of Resolute Wealth Advisor personnel, and interns do not provide advice or exercise discretion over client accounts.
Brody also created recruiting materials based in part on what he sees when attending career fairs at The Ohio State University, where he is a junior studying Finance in the Fisher College of Business.
Brody continues to work with us remotely on a part-time basis during the school year, and we're glad his summer internship produced something that can continue to benefit future interns at Resolute.
As Resolute Wealth Advisor continues to grow, we're being intentional about building opportunities for the next generation of advisors and team members who may one day help serve our clients and their families.
