PSA!!! Don’t wait. The longer you wait to buy a home, the more time you miss out on building equity and appreciation on your property. You can refinance later when rates drop (hence date the rate) but you can’t go back in time and build equity. After all- your property is an investment into your future and waiting might mean missing out on your dream home. Think about whenever rates do drop. This means more competition for you and higher chance of bidding wars.
