Random thought today.

I was talking to someone earlier who thought they had plenty of life insurance through work.

Turns out if something happened to them tomorrow, their family would only get about 8 months of income.

That kinda hit me.

Most people assume their job has them covered… but a lot of those policies are way smaller than people think.

So now I’m curious…

Do you actually know how much coverage you have through work?

Or are you just assuming it’s enough?

(Not selling anything here — I just genuinely wonder how many people have actually checked.)

Most people don’t realize this…

If something happened to you tomorrow, would your family actually be financially okay?

Not trying to sell anyone anything here — it’s just a real question.

A lot of people I talk to think they have enough life insurance through work or an old policy… but when we actually look at it, it usually wouldn’t cover things like:

• Mortgage or rent
• Kids’ expenses
• Debt
• Lost income for years

So I’m curious…

If something happened to you, how long would your family be financially secure?

1 year?
5 years?
Fully protected?

One of the most common mistakes I see with life insurance…

People assume their job gives them enough coverage.

A lot of employer plans only cover about 1x salary.

For most families that wouldn’t even replace a year of income.

Not saying work coverage is bad — it’s actually a great benefit.

It’s just usually not the full solution.

Just something to think about.

Due to weather conditions in NJ I am unable to make it back home as the service for my beloved Uncle Howard commenced later than planned and we are just getting done with spending time with loved ones.
