BUT two major events could shake things up this week:
Tuesday: Midterm elections
Friday: Monthly jobs report
Both have the potential to move mortgage rates, and not necessarily in the direction buyers are hoping for.
Here’s the takeaway: If you’re buying a home, refinancing, or helping clients navigate this market, don’t gamble on rates getting better. Have a strategy, understand your numbers, and know when locking makes sense.
