I just don’t understand people sometimes. I take my time and go the extra distance to explain about insurance coverage that you were clueless about when we first met and throughout the years transacting business. You trusted me to write an astronomical amount of insurance on you and your family that you didn’t even think you were worth.
I am not from the South. I only live down here therefore, I don’t allow anyone to judge me or my family’s worth. I found that other agents put people in a box as if their life is only worth a certain amount depending on their skin color. In my opinion, there’s no limit on what your life is worth. I write whatever you can afford and the sky is the limit only if you can afford it and keep it. I don’t write insurance for you to let it go later and cause a persistency problem for me with one of my companies. That’s why I’ve been in the business so long qualifying my people prior to writing them no matter the race.
Now, we have a death claim and instead of coming to me, you go to the company and report it to a customer service rep instead of me who can help quicker. Yes I am fully aware as most people are, the most appropriate time to have a family review of your current insurance is after a family member passes away. You don’t have to run from me. I am intelligent enough to know you give the family time to grieve after a loss. Let’s do it right because you’ll need me or someone like me again that’s very rare to find.
