This weekend was a special one for The Insurance Guy!

Jerome Scott was honored with the 2026 Legacy Award at the Fayetteville Liberty Gala, recognizing his commitment to supporting the organization from its earliest days. Mr. Scott became the Fayetteville Liberty’s first major sponsor before the team had even played its first game, choosing to invest in a vision for what professional basketball could bring to Fayetteville and the surrounding community.

It was an incredible full-circle moment to watch him receive this recognition and see just how much that early vision has grown. At Insurance Service Center, taking care of our community has always extended beyond insurance. It means showing up, building relationships, supporting local organizations, and investing in the people and ideas that help Fayetteville thrive.

The Insurance Guy was proud to stand alongside Stephanie Brown Kegler and Dancing Without Sin Fitness in support of the 10th Annual Health & Fitness Cancer Awareness Event!

For ten years, Stephanie has used movement, fellowship and community to bring awareness to cancer while creating a space to celebrate survivors, honor those we’ve lost and uplift the families walking alongside them. It was an honor to sponsor a weekend centered on strength, survivorship and community.

Events like this are also a reminder of why preparing for the unexpected matters. Protecting the people you love is one of the most important things you can do.
