It looks like the birth control mandate may go away to some extent. How this will be implemented and what it means for plans has yet to be determined. Either way it won't stop women from accessing birth control and most birth control is very inexpensive (often under $20 per month). so the net effect won't be huge.

The opinion upheld a Trump administration rule that significantly cut back on the Affordable Care Act requirement that insurers provide free birth control coverage under almost all health care plans.

I have been asked this question quite a bit lately so please see below that the Insurance companies do not have to pay for COVID testing as part of return to work. They will pay for it if the employee shows symptoms or gets a test done but we have some employers that are testing weekly or every employee prior to return to work.

Health insurers aren't required to cover COVID-19 tests that are a part of workplace safety or surveillance programs, according to an updated CMS factsheet.

Another "hidden" provider issue is air ambulance and it can be a costly one.

Another "hidden" provider issue is air ambulance and it can be a costly one.

Even the insured struggle to pay, with median charge for in-network claims up from $24,938 in 2014 to $32,708 in 2017, according to claims data from Aetna, Humana and UnitedHealthcare.
