Calling all Primary Montessori educators- here's a great professional development opportunity from the Washington Montessori Institute, accredited by the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning!

Practical Life Session: Saturday, January 31 at 10am ET

Jennifer Shields, AMI Primary Trainer, and Andrée Rolfe, AMI elementary-trained Inclusion Consultant and Teacher Educator, are thrilled to once again offer this unique, four-part virtual study series designed to support primary guides as they consider how to adjust lessons for children with specific learning needs.

Each three-hour session will focus on lesson adaptations in one area for children who have challenges with language development, auditory or visual processing, sensory needs, or attention and executive function. This series is designed for primary guides and administrators who embrace the challenge, are interested in expanding their knowledge base, and are eager to weave supportive adaptations into their practice.

This Giving Tuesday, give the gift of Montessori.

If you love Montessori and believe in our wider mission, you know it is more than an effective method of education. It is the best way to support each individual child and a force for a more peaceful and equitable world.

The Montessori Institute of Atlanta is proud to be the central AMI training center in the Southeast. Your contribution directly supports the preparation of new Montessori teachers and the ongoing professional growth of current teachers and school leaders. With your support, we can reach more future educators and sustain a strong, vibrant Montessori community in Atlanta and the surrounding region.

More Montessori teachers means more Montessori opportunities for children to thrive!
