If you are between the ages of 60 & 79, this is a MUST READ. An Insurance Company I work with is offering a Hospital Indemnity Plan with GUARANTEED ISSUE if you are between the ages of 60 & 79. Yes, that's right. On the application on "Part B: Medical Information" it clearly states "Note: If you are between the ages of 60 & 79 on the date the application is signed, skip to Part C." Part C is "Benefit Options." This plan is guaranteed issue for anyone aged 60-79 and there is not a single medical question to answer. Heart attack? No problem. Cancer? No problem. COPD? No problem. Diabetes? No problem. There are NO medical questions for ages 60-79.
It really doesn't get any better than this. Most policies cost around $25/month and will pay for multiple hospitalizations per year with a 60 day waiting period between hospitalizations.
What you can expect with this Hospital Indemnity plan:
1) There’s no deductible, and you receive payment even if you have other insurance.
2) You’re paid directly, and you may use the payment however you want.
3) You’ll be guaranteed issue if you’re between the ages of 60 and 79 when you sign the application.
4) If you live with another adult, you’ll receive a 7% discount on your premiums.
5) With no network of hospitals, you can choose any hospital you’d like.
6) Your policy remains in force as long as your premiums are paid on time.
How Hospital Indemnity insurance works:
1) If you’re between the ages of 18 and 85, you can apply for Hospital Indemnity insurance.
2) It pays you a cash benefit for each day you’re in the hospital.
3) You choose both: The number of days (3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 21, or 31) and the cash benefit amount per day (from $100 to $600 in increments of $25)
4) If you remain out of the hospital for 60 continuous days, your policy’s benefit period resets.
This Hospital Indemnity insurance coverage plan also pays cash benefits for:
1) Emergency room services for injuries
2) Observation unit monitoring
3) Inpatient mental health services
4) Travel to the hospital or medical facility and/or a hospital stay
Hospital indemnity insurance also allows you to choose optional benefits at an additional cost, including:
1) Ambulance or urgent care center services
2) A cancer diagnosis
3) Outpatient surgery
4) Outpatient therapy and chiropractic
5) Skilled nursing services
