One of the biggest frustrations when applying for a mortgage has finally been addressed. On March 5th, a bill was passed to eliminate mortgage trigger leads.

If you’ve ever applied for a loan and suddenly started getting dozens of calls and texts from lenders you’ve never spoken to, that was caused by the credit bureaus selling your information after your credit was pulled.

As a lender, this has always been incredibly frustrating because I want the process to feel smooth, private, and stress-free for my clients, but this part was completely out of my control.

This new legislation will help protect buyers’ privacy and stop the flood of unwanted calls, making the home financing process a much better experience.

Honestly… this is a huge win for buyers.👏
