How’s it really going…? When asked with sincerity, I’ve always deeply appreciated the question!

I used to believe that with enough plain persistence and determination you could achieve anything. But as it turns out - your mind has a way of taking your worst moments in life, beating you down and chaining you with them. Robbing you of your dreams and your future. Broken relationships, bad decisions, poor finance and self doubt - all creep in and combine to steal your confidence, expertise, will and joy. I absolutely found myself in this prison (mindset) and wasn’t sure I would ever find the opportunity or tools to unshackle myself and to have the ability to work towards the best version of myself. To work and achieve financial liberation. Not only have I found the very vehicle to accomplish these things, this career I have taken on is completely changing my life. How? Through constant personal and leadership development - all in service and the helping of others. So how is it going…?

Working from home? Ace!
Being my own boss? A challenge everyday that I meet with the support of my team and others!
Building my team? Looking for the right people who need and desire to change their lives and become a new you 2.0 :)
How is the new career going? It’s just getting started, but the future is so bright, I gotta wear shades!

One day closer to the big reveal!

I came out of a failed business with a total lack of direction and a real need for something that was going to challenge me, give me purpose - and at the same time would foster some serious personal development. The corporate world was never going to work. In my mind what I desired was a complete fantasy.

Until it wasn't.

I found the place that checked all of the boxes. I can't wait to share it tomorrow with you...

What are some non-negotiables for you when it comes to your career?

I wanted time freedom to spend with my family and when I finally got the opportunity, I realized I wasn't really free to do what I wanted.
Having all the time you want isn't really freedom if you’re broke.
Figuring out what I really wanted in a career that would fund my freedom has been a process, but it led me to the perfect opportunity that aligns with all of my goals and values.
Have you taken the time to evaluate your own career desires?
One thing I have to have is flexibility. Creating my own schedule and the ability to work from anywhere is a priority.
What are your top priorities?
Knowing what I didn't want was just as important as knowing what I did want. I knew I didn't want to feel stuck or limited in my growth and income potential.
What are your deal-breakers when it comes to your career?
For me, finding the opportunity to work from home and have uncapped earnings potential was key.

I've had the privilege of working as an owner or executive globally for years. I loved the travel, wonderful partners and friends I have made and really wasn't sure after leaving that space where I could fit and contribute. The world has changed so much - and I am so very blessed to be in a space that is resourceful, adaptive and is growing me in ways I could not have imagined! Watch this space...

Three years ago, my business that I'd poured my heart and soul and sooo much money into was going bust and Covid put the final nail in the lid of the coffin. To say I was broken-hearted would be a gross understatement. I didn't know who I was anymore and had no idea what was going to become of me. Then I found Symmetry, and after 3 years, Symmetry has helped me to find myself again. In some ways, I've just started on this journey, but this company, with their WHOLE-HEARTED culture and people, was what my broken heart needed then, and where my heart - and my life - will continue to heal and grow.
