My background has led me to be uniquely situated to understand and help each client achieve his or her definition of financial success. Being a single parent, I understand that not all families are created equal. Originally from Buffalo, I moved to Virginia in 1999. In 2020, my family suffered two unimaginable losses. My daughter, Delaney, and my brother, David, died nine months apart. I understand grief and the importance of preparing for the unexpected firsthand. I attended the State University of New York at Buffalo with a bachelor's in communication and received my master's in communication from Texas Christian University. I am also a certified mediator and hold the Accredited Asset Management Specialist™ designation. Giving back to the community is important to me. I served on the Ashland Parks & Rec Committee, as a member of Leadership Hanover and as current president of the Ashland Rotary. I enjoy cycling, sailing and photography. One of my greatest adventures was traveling the U.S. in our RV. In setting out to make a difference in my clients' lives, I am humbled at how much they make a difference in mine.
