🎉 As we celebrate our 70th Anniversary, we’re taking it back to the very beginning and following up to 2026!

Then: In the 1980s, teachers received their paychecks from their principals on Friday afternoons and headed straight to HCU. Lines often wrapped around the building, and members patiently waited for hours while our team stayed open until everyone was helped.

The celebration included plenty of conversation, community members stopping by, and even The Zone Radio show joining in on the fun.
