I had the pleasure of attending the coffee chat organized by the Women's Council of Realtors Greater Rochester Area chapter yesterday. The discussion centered around the recent NAR settlement and how it is going to affect every agent going forward.
Even as a mortgage professional, I found the session particularly beneficial.

Here were my key takeaways:
- Samantha Hillery did an amazing job breaking down the complexities of the settlement and what it means for us in the real estate and mortgage industries.
- We discussed potential changes and strategies to adapt to the new landscape, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve.

📍 Change your address with the post office, credit cards, bank accounts, and any other important accounts.
💡 Set up utilities (electricity, gas, water, internet, cable, etc.) in your name.
🔐 Change the locks and make spare keys for your new home.
🛠 Inspect your home for any repairs that need to be made and prioritize them.

⏱ Set up a regular maintenance schedule for your home's systems.
