Just a note to let you all know that the organizers and client letters are being updated and will be uploaded/mailed next week.
Tax software is in and installed. There will be no price increases this year. I will need the amount of stimulus money you received in 2021. Please note that they are not taxable but can be corrected if you did not receive the proper amount. The website will be going through some changes but will be easy to navigate. If you have any questions, please give me a call.

I am looking to increase business this year. There is no better way than to ask you to refer future clients. I will be offering $25 for each personal tax return and $50 for each business (Self employed or Rental property) return. Once I have completed the return you will be paid, no waiting 30 days, more details in client letter.

Hope you are all in good health, staying home with family, and to the best of your ability practicing social distancing.
I'm just letting you know that I will continue to prepare taxes for 2019 through July 15th and if need be until October 15th. I will be in the office full days Monday thru Wednesday and will be in the wood shop Thursday thru Saturday. I will however stop in the office daily to take care of any issues or emergencies that arise.
Also, I have made the decision to continue to prepare taxes for the next few years. The number of years will be based on how the next couple of years go.
I pray that all of you and your families stay well during and after this COVID19 pandemic.

Just letting everyone know that I will be doing taxes again in 2020 for the 2019 tax year. I will be preparing taxes for all of my longtime clients and first responders. Over the next year I am not going to be taking on any new clients. I am going to start cutting my workload down to a reasonable amount of returns. I am going to cut out all the time that I waste chasing down bounced checks and slow or no pays. I don’t mean to offend anyone but the collection of past due and bounced checks is really way out of hand. It takes a toll on my family and my well being. I want to take this time to thank everyone for your past and future business. God bless all of you and may he keep all of our first responders safe as they put their lives on the line for us. Hello, Everyone!

I hope 2018 has been a happy and prosperous year for you all.

Your 2018 Tax Organizer which I will use in preparing your tax return is very important; please fill out as best you can. A completed organizer lessens the likelihood of omissions from your tax return, therefore reducing the chances of any IRS inquiries, notices, audits, or reviews. If you are claiming mileage please include your mileage logs. When you have gathered ALL your tax information, you can mail, email, or fax your organizer and tax documents to me at my Florida office.

The Client Engagement Letter, must be signed by each taxpayer and spouse, I am required to retain this form in my files per recent IRS law changes. These documents are also available on the website and on demand (fax and mail).

The 2018 ID Requirement Form is mandatory to fight ID theft. Please fill out completely I will not be able to file your taxes without it.

If you are claiming mileage for a deduction you must send your log to me. I will copy end totals and acknowledge receipt.

If you ask for an extension to be filed there is a nonrefundable fee of $50 to be paid upon that request. I will apply that $50 to your return when completed by my office.

I have had to make some changes on how I allow people to pay me later. Unfortunately there has been too many over the past three years who haven't paid or have bounced checks and I have been unable to contact or collect.

There is a price increase this year of $10 on personal returns, $15 with schedule C or 2106 (unreimbursed employee), $20 with schedule F (farm). All business returns (1120S) please call for pricing.

You must be paid up on previous years preparation fees before 2018 taxes will be prepared. If this is a problem please feel free to contact me. All preparation fees are due upon completion of tax return. There will be a $35 late fee applied after 30 days, an additional $25 every 30 days past due there after.

The IRS has not yet announced a date that it will begin accepting individual tax returns for the 2018 tax filing season. At the present time, the IRS is continuing to update its programming and processing systems for 2018.

October 15th is coming fast! If you have filed an extension with me please get your information to me as soon as you can.

Just a note to all: Yes, I will be doing taxes this next tax season starting the middle to end of January 2019. There will be an increase in the prep fee of $10. I still have many that have not paid for the 2017 tax prep and some going back three years . Please, I also have bills and a family to support. This coming tax season please include payment (+$10 increase) and or let me know if you plan to pay by credit or debit card.

The IRS has announced that they will start accepting tax returns on the 29th of January. Since I am running a little late getting the forms uploaded to the website please feel free to use last years forms. I will be posting here all the changes for 2018 on Monday. To answer many of your questions, yes I will be doing taxes this year. The main changes this year are: 1) If I don’t have your taxes by March 31st I will need to file an extension for you. I will be going to Boston to see my daughter run in the Boston marathon. There is a $50 charge for the extension which is credited to you when I finish your taxes. In the past people have me file an extension knowing there is a charge for this service and they go somewhere else to have taxes done and have never paid me for this service. $50 is due by card or check at time of request for extension. 2) If you owe me for last year and for quite a few of the clients, previous years you must catch up first. That includes extensions filed on you behalf for 2016.
I am taken back by the amount owed for services. Please catchup if you are behind.
I will talk to you on a one to one basis about how the new tax changes will affect you.

3) I am also looking for someone to help me with data entry and learning tax preparation (some experience helpful but not necessary). My plan is to teach and train someone to take my place. I would hang around as an advisor for a minimum of two years there after.
