The Pendleton County Farm Bureau board of directors hosted employees from the State and County road departments for an appreciation luncheon today. This was a small jester to show our appreciation to the everyday workers who keep our roadways cleared and repaired year around so that farmers and residents have safe passable roads for everything from commuting to and from work to moving farm equipment safely down the road. Thank You gentlemen for your daily work.

Pendleton County Farm Bureau President Rob Mcclanahan along with Campbell County Farm Bureau President Kevin Neltner has the opportunity to meet with State Senator Shelly Funke Frommeyer today in Frankfort. They talked over some bills of interest with Farm Bureau and presented the Senator with a gift basket of Kentucky Proud Products representing our annual Food Checkout Week, which is the week when the average American household has earned enough money that year for their yearly groceries. They was scheduled to meet with Representative Mark Hart but he had an emergency meeting outside of Frankfort that he was needed to attend. We thank both Senator Frommeyer and Representative Hart for their support for agriculture.
