Are you waiting for home prices to fall? Data shows that the economy resembles the situation in the early 2000s rather than 2008. This is because the downturn is due to an outside force, not due to a weak housing market.

What happened to home prices in the early 2000s? They still appreciated steadily.

With the housing crash of 2006-2008 still visible in the rear-view mirror, many are concerned the current correction in the stock market is a sign that home values are also about to tumble.
