On June 1st, I marked 20 years in business — and I couldn't let the moment pass without reflecting on the journey and every person who made it possible.
Two decades ago, I started my Independent Insurance Agency from the ground up. Over the years, this agency has grown in ways I couldn't have imagined, and I am deeply proud of what it has become.
When I started from scratch 20 years ago, I had a vision, a whole lot of determination, and two incredible partners by my side from day one — Erie Insurance and Progressive. Their support and belief in what I was building helped lay the foundation for everything this agency has become.
For the past 6 years, Karla has been an absolute cornerstone of this agency. Her dedication, hard work, and genuine commitment to our clients and our community have made this agency so much more than just a business. Karla, I am so grateful for you! 🙏
But the people I want to thank most are my family. When I was starting out, my children were very young, and I was often doing it all on my own. Vacations were short, and the laptop always came along. There were a lot of moving pieces and not always enough hours in the day — but my family never wavered.
To my husband Steve — your steadfast support has meant more than you know. To Sydney and Jacob — you grew up alongside this business, and your patience, love, and encouragement carried me more than you realize. This milestone belongs to all of us. 💛
And to my clients — thank you for your loyalty and trust in this agency over the years. It is a responsibility I have never taken lightly.
