The canola base price is officially set at $0.2670/lb, if you have canola on your mind for this fall. That translates to $13.35/bu.
Keep in mind that canola insurance is only available by written agreement for any Eastern Oklahoma counties. The crop insurance deadline is August 31, 2026, for the 2027 crop.

Also, weight tickets (with your empty weight) for any seed wheat binned are great for your adjuster and agent to use for production records and will streamline your claim settlement process.

A transition from La Niña to ENSO-neutral is expected in the next month, with -neutral favored through May-July 2026 (55% chance). In June-August 2026, El Niño is likely to emerge (62% chance) and persist through at least the end of 2026. A advisory remains in effect.
