Westamerica team members volunteered at Calistoga and Lower Lake High Schools to support the 10,000 Degrees Money Matters workshop, helping students develop essential financial literacy skills. Westamerica is proud to support the Ceres Unified School District Foundation which benefits the Ceres Unified School District. Located in the heart of California’s Central Valley, the Ceres Unified School District serves a culturally diverse community of more than 12,000 PreK-12 students. In addition, the district provides free meals and afterschool care. Since 2004, through the foundation, over $341,000 in Teacher Mini Grants have been awarded to 835 teachers, impacting more than 18,000 students. Additionally, since the inception of the scholarship program in 2023, 267 students have received more than $210,000 in scholarships to attend college, with several returning to CUSD as elementary and high school teachers.
