In 2004 a large diamond worth today's equivalent of $450,000 was mounted in the front of a Jaguar F1 car during the Monaco Grand Prix to celebrate the release of the movie Oceans Twelve. The driver of the car Christian Klien crashed on the first lap and the diamond was never recovered, and for some unknown reason was not insured!
