Katy moved to Freestone County at the beginning of the year and has loved every second of calling FreeCo home! She has been working in the insurance industry for a little over a year and is excited to continue doing what she loves… serving people and helping families protect what matters most. 🏡🚗❤️

When she’s not working, you can usually find Katy on the ranch with her dad, hunting, spending time with family and friends, or serving on Wednesday nights by teaching Awanas at her church.

The phone call I get most often starts with "I've just been in an accident, what do I do?" And that's what I'm here for.

But it helps to know the steps before you ever need them:
1. Check for injuries first. Everything else can wait.
2. If it's safe, move out of traffic and turn on your hazards.
3. Call 911. Even for a minor accident.
4. Take photos of everything: damage, plates, the road around you.
5. Exchange info with the other driver. Stick to facts, skip the fault talk.
6. Call your agent. We'll walk through the next steps together.
7. Keep an eye on how you feel over the next few days. Adrenaline hides a lot.
