As we continue into the new year, markets have been anticipating the Fed’s pivot and have begun pricing in rate reductions. Increased demand was seen in particular markets during the month as a result of more favorable terms for buyers. While the Fed’s decision will likely have an impact on increased demand, experts are already beginning to call January the “bottom” for real estate in 2024. 👀📊

We have seen rates bounce back slightly after the relief seen in November/December, and all eyes are on the FOMC by the Federal Reserve at the end of the month.👀 Buying activity slowed during December, which is typical of the seasonal market.📉 We expect that market activity will increase inthe coming months, especially if the FOMC meeting shows a Federal Reserve Pivot and a decrease of interest rates.📈
