This weekend at the Vienna Coin and stamp show, there is one stamp dealer booked to have a table at this show. So if you have a stamp collection that you’re looking to sell, this would be your one chance that we know of to have someone look at your stamps. This stamp dealer has an eBay presence. But we don’t personally know them. Best of luck

We meet great people every day and get to hear their stories. That’s what is so great about coins. It’s not just a piece of monetary history, it’s a piece of a family’s history. Hot off the anvil! Precious metal news for you:
The majority of precious metals refiners have stopped accepting Sterling silverware and hollowware.
The reason for this is partly due to a huge influx of Sterling waiting to be melted down when the market was flooded in Dec and Jan. The refiners couldn't keep up with the demand for their services and temporarily closed their doors, in order to catch up. So far, they are expected to open back up in a month or more. We are holding off buying sterling silverware for now, but we will keep you updated.

We are excited that a 1903 proof set that we sent to Stacks Bowers is being auctioned off next month. Each coin from the proof set came back with very high grades from PCGS and CAC. We were sad to see it go, but are glad it will soon find a home. If you want to bid on it below are links and photos to the auction.
