The Schack Art Center opens its doors for FREE Wintertide Art Making — Friday-Sunday this weekend, and again after Christmas.

Drop by anytime during their hours and let your family create together. No registration. No cost. Just art supplies, creative space, and the chance to make something with your own hands.

It's these quiet moments — kids focused on painting, parents helping with glue, families laughing over glitter mishaps — that become the memories we treasure most.

As Wintertide winds down, we're grateful for every event that brought our community together this season. From snow machines on Colby Avenue to reindeer at the waterfront, from cookie crawls to tree lightings — Everett showed up for each other.

Holiday Hooves brings Santa's crew to the Port of Everett for the remainder of Wintertide:

12pm-3pm on Weekends
2pm-5pm on Weekdays

This weekend, downtown Everett tastes like the holidays.

Saturday December 13th is the 3rd Annual Cookie Crawl (noon-5pm) which takes you through 12 locally owned businesses, each stop featuring a unique cookie from a local bakery. You build your custom cookie box while supporting downtown — win-win-win.

Every crawl ticket includes:

-12 delectable cookies – one from each participating bakery
-A bonus cookie stop
-A festive photo op with Santa Claus
-A Cookie Crawl box to keep everything safe and sweet
-A fun, self-guided stroll through Downtown Everett

Tickets are $30, and one ticket equals one box of cookies. Bringing a friend or the whole family? Just purchase one ticket for every box you’d like to take home.

Check-in begins at Petrikor, where you’ll pick up your cookie box, map, and wristband before heading out for your sugary adventure.

This event sells out every year, don’t wait to grab your spot!

Proceeds benefits the Downtown Everett Partners, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

This Saturday, the Port of Everett goes all-in for the holidays!

Holiday on the Bay (Dec 6, noon-6pm) brings everything we love about this community to the waterfront:

-Holiday market with local makers
- Kids' activities from s'mores to face painting
-Touch-a-truck for the little ones
-Tree lighting and Santa visit
- Lighted boat parade as the sun sets

Tomorrow evening, Everett Station becomes holiday central!

Free photos with Santa. Hot chocolate to warm up. The beautifully decorated Great Hall. All happening from 5-7pm on Wednesday, December 3rd.

One of our favorite things about Wintertide? It spreads holiday magic across every corner of Everett — from downtown to the waterfront, from the arboretum to the train station.

It's a reminder that community isn't just one place. It's everywhere neighbors gather and families make memories together.

Holiday Hooves brings Santa's crew to the Port of Everett tomorrow and Sunday (Nov 29-30) from noon to 3pm — and it's one of those experiences that belongs on every family's holiday list.

There's something about seeing wonder light up your kids' faces that makes everything else fade into the background. These are the moments that matter.

And here's the beautiful part: Wintertide is full of them. Throughout December, reindeer visits continue — plus ice skating, cookie crawls, holiday performances, and so much more.

Tonight at 5pm, Imagine Children's Museum is opening "Sockefeller Center" with Santa's Sock-Hop Tree Lighting!

Sock skating. Live entertainment. Winter crafts. Museum playtime. And of course, Santa and his elves spreading holiday magic.

From 2-8pm, Colby Avenue transforms into a winter celebration — and we can't wait to see families gathering together for the Wintertide Tree Lighting.

Here's what makes tonight special:

--Magical snow falling on the hour (starting at 3pm)
--Santa arriving by fire truck around 5pm
--FREE photos with Santa at the Historic Everett Theatre (5:30-8pm)
--Hot cocoa and cookies to keep everyone warm
-- The moment when we count down together and light up downtown

Wintertide kicks off November 28th with an evening that reminds us why we love this community — tree lighting, snowfall (yes, really!), Santa arriving on a fire truck, and families creating memories together on Colby Avenue.
