The Great ShakeOut is a good reminder that earthquake preparedness doesn’t stop when the drill is over.

Knowing what to do during an earthquake is important, but being prepared goes beyond that. Having emergency supplies, making a family communication plan, signing up for local alerts (see our list below), and thinking about how you’ll recover afterward can all make a difference.

The City of Everett, WA recommends preparing your household to be self-sufficient for at least 14 days.

Don't we clean up nice? ✨

Our team was honored to spend the weekend supporting two of our partners, Cocoon House and the YMCA of Snohomish County. Getting to hear from youth whose lives have been changed by these two organizations is an uplifting and deeply moving experience.

We are so grateful for the support of our client community!

On Saturday we had the chance to pay that support forward to Girls on the Run of Snohomish County. McClain Insurance Services sponsored the bid cards at the annual Sneaker Soiree, which raises money for GOTR programs throughout the county.

Meghan had the chance to attend the event and hear firsthand how the GOTR experience positively impacts participants' lives for years to come.

What an incredible evening!

Last Friday, McClain Insurance joined Alpine Cleaning and Restoration at Kasch Park for a special event celebrating the people who make our work meaningful every day: our team, our clients, our partners, and our community.

We enjoyed delicious burgers and shakes from the Dick's Drive In food truck, plus plenty of games and family fun. Thanks to our partners at PEMCO Insurance, attendees also had the chance to snap a photo with Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh... or at least a very convincing cardboard version of him. ⚾

We also took the opportunity to celebrate Laura Paradis' birthday with cake and a round of "Happy Birthday." 🎂

We're grateful for the trust our clients place in us, the relationships we've built with our partners, and most of all, our exceptional team of agents who work hard every day to serve our community. Thank you for being part of the McClain family.

With drought conditions, high winds, and elevated wildfire risk across parts of the Pacific Northwest, officials are asking everyone to do their part to help prevent new fires.

Our favorite dynamic duo! We just had to brighten your Tuesday with this sweet photo of Claudia and Nick from last week.

Even in retirement, Claudia is generous with her time and talents, and we're so grateful for that! She and Nick get together regularly for lunch dates and to catch up on insurance news, our team, and our families.

Fun fact: Did you know Nick's mom met Claudia in a new moms group when their sons were babies? Who knew that one day Nick would be carrying on the McClain Insurance legacy that Claudia established back in 1977! We're fortunate to have client families and community partners who have been with us since the start.
