Health Insurance just doesn't cover all of the expenses; trust me, I know from experience. You think you're covered and then you have an accident, or worse and the bills keep stacking up.

I am thankful that I was introduced to supplemental plans, years ago. Chad and I have both been in situations that could have placed us in financial hardship after hospitalizations; but we were able to utilize our supplemental policies and that burden was lifted.
