New to HECM for Purchase:
Seller & Interested Party Concessions
Just when you think HECM fir Purchase cant get any better, it does! Seller concessions are now allowed on H4P transactions and here’s what you need to know:
Concessions up to 6% of the sales price are allowed
Concessions can go toward the borrower’s origination fees, credit report, appraisal, prepaid items, and initial MIP.
Interested parties include: Sellers, real estate agents, builders and others involved in the transaction
Seller related fees and paying a PACE lien do NOT count toward the 6%
Quantum Reverse is already set up to take seller and interested part concessions into account. Ask your Loan Officer for more details.
