Our Government has once again limited the american people to purchase affordable alternatives to their ACA plans. Please be advised and read below.

Update on Short-Term Medical Health Plans

No Surprises Here.

On March 28, 2024, the Department of Health and Humana Services (HHS), Labor, and the Treasure Departments released final rules for short-term medical (STM) insurance plans proposed by the Biden administration in 2023. The new proposal aims to shorten STM durations to a maximum of three months with a one-month extension and not allow policies to be sold again with the same insurance carrier for a period of 12 months from the original effective date of coverage.

What this means is that individuals will now have to switch four times in a year and have 4 deductibles and 4 out of pockets each year and have to transfer to 4 different companies to keep active insurance at an affordable price, those that don't qualify for subsidies that is. This pathetic excuse for a law is only making the health care of normal americans even more expensive, while illegal immigrants get free health care on the American tax payer! Now coming this year, every person not willing to do the above will have to switch to ACA, Obamacare, for health insurance with higher out of pocket cost ranging upwards of 10,000 annually or more.
