USDA has announced a new opportunity for eligible producers to increase base acres through the Agriculture Risk Coverage (ARC) and Price Loss Coverage (PLC) programs.

As part of recent legislation, 30 million base acres are being added nationwide. FSA offices have completed the allocation process, and landowners will soon receive letters outlining any base acre adjustments tied to their property.

It is important for farmers to review these notices and complete any necessary actions by August 31st. You can follow the instructions included in the letter or complete the process online through login.gov.
