Last week, our team at Tourmaline Wealth Advisors joined Meals on Wheels Northeastern Illinois in Evanston to sponsor and pack “blizzard bags” — emergency food kits for homebound seniors who may be cut off during severe winter weather.

These kits are more than just meals. They’re a lifeline. For many of the 740 clients served across 43 communities — from the North Shore to Waukegan and west to Melrose Park — each delivery brings not only nourishment, but dignity, care, and connection.
Last year alone, Meals on Wheels NEI delivered over 125,000 meals. And with winter approaching, the need is growing.
