*Did you know your lender has to have a credit check, a background check and fingerprint check in order to do their job as a lender!

Tips to get you home. EMPLOYMENT
1. A 2-year work history is required unless, you are coming out of college then you can use your school history to offset your work history.
2. You want to avoid job hopping as your employment will not seem stable. Job hopping to me = 3 or more different jobs each year.
3. If you are paid hourly and you decide to leave your job make sure you keep a copy of your last paycheck.
4. Be kind on your job as a verification of employment is needed. The last thing you want is your employer to check the box that says "employment not likely to continue" If your VOE comes in with this your loan will be denied as it sends the message that you will not have income.

a. W2’s
b. Current paystubs
c. Year End Paystubs
d. Bank Statements
e. Tax Returns (only if using down payment assistance).
f. Misc like child support order, divorce decree, social security award letter (if applicable)
