Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave everything for our country. Their sacrifice secured freedoms we often take for granted, and their courage will never be forgotten.

This Memorial Day, we remember those who are no longer with us, the families who carry their legacy forward, and the enduring spirit of service that continues to shape our communities and our nation.

Charlie Cross, Chief Executive Officer, CS Bank, is pleased to announce CS Bank President, Jason Tennant, has been appointed as Chairman of the Arkansas Bankers Association’s Board of Directors. The Arkansas Bankers Association is an organization that is committed to serving and advocating for Arkansas banks statewide. As Chairman, Jason will provide leadership and strategic direction for the organization and its member banks across the state while elevating Arkansas banking on a national stage. In this role, he will work closely with the ABA Board of Directors and leadership to advance key industry priorities, strengthen advocacy efforts, and represent Arkansas bankers in critical conversations with policymakers, regulators, and national banking organizations. His leadership will help ensure the voice of community banking in Arkansas is not only heard, but influential, driving decisions that directly impact the consumers, and business’ banks serve on a daily basis. From expanding access to financial services and advancing fraud protection to supporting innovation in digital banking, Tennant’s role will help shape a stronger, more responsive banking experience for individuals, families, and businesses across Arkansas.

Cross stated, “I know I speak for our entire CS Bank family when saying how tremendously proud we are of Jason and his leadership within the Arkansas Bankers Association. His advocacy for our industry will be paramount to Arkansas banking and the foundation of the financial services field. Happy National Accountant Day to the hardworking accounting professionals across our communities! You are the backbone of every business, every budget, and every big financial decision — and you make it look easy even when we know it's anything but.
