From bridal boutique to home base. Here's what 18 months actually looked like.
When my family first walked into this building, the floor still had patches from where the bridal racks used to stand. There were crystal chandeliers from the wedding dress lighting hanging over our heads. The storefront was empty.
So we tore it down to the studs. Lost the chandeliers (sorry, kids). Rebuilt the kitchen, the offices, the hallways from scratch.
Two years later, it's a working office building serving real families across North San Diego: mortgage, property management, real estate, insurance. All under one roof.
The Bridal Boutique sign is still up because permitting and signage in downtown Escondido is its own adventure. More on that soon.
What's next on this feed: real stories from the families we're working with right now. The math. The wins. The honest answers nobody else is giving about what it actually takes to live in North County.
