If it's been a while since you looked at an LRP policy (Livestock Risk Protection), maybe it's time to take another look. We've done a few quotes this week and thought we'd share today's:

The cost to lock in steers to sell at 650 lbs around October 23rd for $1833/head ($296.86/cwt) is currently $27.

You can increase coverage to $1930/hd for $53.

Policies have to be written after 4pm weekdays and before 8 am the following day. Policies cannot be written over the weekend, so Friday evening is the last chance this week to get coverage.
